What is labiaplasty?
Labiaplasty is a type of surgery in women that is used to beautify the vagina. The labia is part of the female reproductive system, and in this type of beautification, the appearance of the inner or outer edge is changed. In fact, over time, a woman’s genital area changes, including drooping and sagging. Candidates for this type of surgery are often women whose vaginal edges are stretched, which can cause various problems for women. Labiaplasty surgery is performed to treat this problem in women. This surgery is not always performed for cosmetic purposes. Sometimes a person has to have surgery because of problems with stretching and loosening of the labia. Deformity or stretching of the labia can cause problems for the person and the they can suffer serious injuries. Causes of surgery due to deformity or stretching of the labia include pain when using a bicycle or motorcycle, pain and inflammation due to wearing tight clothes, pain during sex and as a result of that unwillingness to have sex. All these can cause psychological problems for a person.
