Wards

This department is located on the ground floor of the hospital and next to the main entrance. Professional doctors and nurses are always providing services 24 hours a day. Two operating rooms equipped for emergency or outpatient operations are located in this section. The design of the hospital building is such that quick access to the main operating rooms of the hospital through the emergency is possible and fast so that in very urgent cases, the patient can be immediately transferred to the main operating room. The recovery room (CPR) in the emergency department is designed at the entrance of this department, which helps doctors to serve the critically ill patients with the most advanced devices in this department. Also the wards close to the emergency, the laboratory and imaging wards, provide services to emergency patients in the fastest time.

It is located next to the maternity ward with experienced and trained staff. The pediatricians and neonatologists of this hospital have constant supervision over the infants admitted to this ward. This department has the ability to serve 10 critically ill babies simultaneously. With the support of this department, all complex operations and surgeries for newborns are performed. All devices in this section are for babies; for example, all ventilators in this section are for babies. We work with a professional, experienced and trained staff to provide the necessary medical services to the infants so that we can minimize the stress and anxiety of the parents of these infants.

It is located on the third floor of the hospital with 8 beds and next to the VIP ward. Specialist staff, including cardiologists, anesthesiologists, and professional nurses, provide services to critically ill patients or patients who require cardiac care and monitoring after surgery.

With 6 beds and an isolated room on the first floor, ICU is next to the operating room of the hospital. It is the most sensitive part of the hospital where the responsibility of caring for critically ill patients or patients who need intensive care after surgery is monitored in this department. This department is ready to serve critically ill patients with its up-to-date devices such as non-invasive ventilators (NIV), high flow ventilators and modern invasive ventilators. Patients with severe renal problems are treated with advanced hemodialysis machines by trained personnel of this department. Also, in order to speed up the diagnostic processes, this department is equipped with a portable ultrasound and radiology device to prevent the transfer of critically ill patients.

It has 5 specialized operating rooms; it is located next to the intensive care unit on the first floor of the hospital and is active 24 hours a day. In this part of Mortaz Hospital, with modern equipment and surgeons, along with experienced and trained personnel, we do our best to achieve the best and safest surgical result. Adherence to the highest standards of infection control has made the statistics of post-surgery infections in this center better than international standards.

The youngest imaging department in Yazd province is located in Mortaz Hospital, which includes CT-Scan, MRI, digital radiology, mammography, portable digital radiology, OPG (jaw x-ray), Doppler ultrasound and bone density measurement.

It includes 7 separate wards for surgical, internal medicine, gynecology and pediatric patients, which are located on three floors of the hospital. There are a total of more than 130 beds, which can be increased to 160 beds in emergency conditions. In each ward there are private isolated rooms, and rooms with two, three and four beds. Protecting patients 'privacy along with nurses' compassion will bring you the best memories of therapy.

Department of Physical therapy and Rehabilitation located on the ground floor of the hospital, which is easily accessible and includes 10 beds. Large department of mechanotherapy along with electrotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy units, for all patients with neuromuscular, musculoskeletal, cerebrospinal and other problems, is ready to provide services with experienced and trained staff. This department provides the best services under the supervision of physicians specializing in physical medicine and rehabilitation, along with a group of physical therapists, occupational therapists and technical orthopedic designers with the highest international standards.

Laboratory is located on the ground floor of the hospital, next to the emergency department and close to the operating room, which can use advanced and automatic devices to provide inpatient and outpatient services 24 hours a day. One of the strengths of this laboratory is the rapid and correct response to various tests, which will naturally play an important role in the effective diagnosis and treatment of patients. The pathology department examines the samples obtained from the removal of body lesions. All types of samples sent from body tissues, whether benign or malignant lesions, must be examined by pathology, and according to the global protocol, every sample that comes out of a person's body must be sent to the pathology department.

It is the largest department of the hospital, which is ready to provide outpatient and diagnostic services and non-invasive treatment in all different specialties with the highest accuracy and the most modern equipment; It is on the ground floor with a separate entrance from the main street. Also, all check-ups in this section are done professionally in the shortest possible time.

The endoscopy department is located on the first floor of the hospital, where diagnostic and therapeutic operations of the upper, lower gastrointestinal tract and lungs are performed daily. This department is equipped with the most up-to-date endoscopy and colonoscopy, bronchoscopy and duodenoscopy devices for adults and children, which is ready to provide services to patients along with the experienced staff of the department and the good cooperation of the anesthesia group. Also, the ERCP section in this department is ready to provide services for diagnostic and treatment of bile ducts and pancreas.

It is located on the second floor of the hospital, which includes delivery rooms, preeclampsia room, labor, recovery unit, and private delivery unit. In this department, painless delivery is performed with the cooperation of anesthesiologists who work specifically in this field. In the private delivery unit, water delivery is performed by professional and trained staff; next to it there is neonatal ward, full time with the cooperation of specialists.

This department is designed with a capacity that is twice the main capacity of the hospital, which is able to provide services to all department of the hospital in all situations and crises. Smartization in air conditioning and the use of fresh air in all departments, producing oxygen with a capacity higher than needed, helped a lot in the corona pandemic crisis. In addition, due to the fact that environmental protection is one of the basic principles in the hospital, modern wastewater treatment and hospital waste disposal takes place inside this unit.
