Liposuction

Liposuction (abdomen and hips, thighs, arms)

Sometimes some people have a body with disproportionate form and obesity, despite the observance of nutrition and physical health. The cause of this abnormal obesity is the accumulation of adipose tissue locally. Most of these localized accumulations of adipose tissue are caused by genetic factors and have little to do with physical health or proper nutrition. In another group of people, this problem can be caused by improper nutrition and inactivity. However, liposuction is a way to remove these fat masses. By removing excess fat by liposuction, slimming and reshaping the body, the desired fitness can be achieved. As a result, the person feels better about their body. Sometimes liposuction is done alone; Sometimes it is done by the request of clients along with other plastic surgeries such as face lift, breast reduction or abdominal surgery.

What is liposuction?

Liposuction is a cosmetic surgery performed on the body using a suction technique to remove excess fat from specific parts of the body such as the abdomen, hips, thighs, arms or neck. Liposuction surgery is also used to shape these areas. Liposuction is not a method of weight loss or a substitute for weight loss. So abdominal and lateral liposuction, the thighs and arms liposuction are not normally used for weight loss. Rather, the use of this action is in order to beautify and shape the mentioned parts. So if you are looking to lose weight, using diet and exercise along with surgeries such as reducing the size of your stomach can be more suitable options for you. Liposuction is performed when diet and exercise are no longer effective for removing excess fat from these areas. Liposuction is used to remove fat from these areas:

  • Abdominal
  • Arms
  • hip
  • Chest and back
  • thighs
  • Neck

What is the purpose of liposuction?

As you gain weight, fat cells in different parts of the body, including the abdomen and hips, thighs, and arms, increase in number and volume. Liposuction actually reduces the number of these fat cells in these areas. The amount of this fat is different in each person. The amount of fat that is removed during liposuction depends on the appearance and the amount of bulge and the volume of fat in these parts. If a person follows some tips after the operation, the size change is permanent. It can be said that one of the points that make the result of liposuction permanent is to avoid overweight again and keep the weight constant. After liposuction, the skin of the area from which the fat has been removed adapts to the new condition and form. In fact, if a person's skin has good flexibility, it will fully adapt to the new conditions and volume of the operated parts. You should talk to your doctor about your medical history before having this surgery. Your doctor should review your medical history.
